Why here

Pairs LANTA's downtown EBS stop at Walnut & New with the Bethlehem Transportation Center 236 m away; the Spine continues via Broad & Main.

Program ideas (planning phase)

  • Bethlehem Hub, street level first: waiting room, restrooms, real-time info, local retail and community space in existing ground floors
  • A short below-grade connection only if geotechnical, safety, heritage and financial reviews support it
  • Wire-free vehicles and low-profile shelters in the historic district

Every station also gets the station kit: level boarding, shelter, lighting, real-time screens, bike racks, a rain garden and a sorting point for recycling, compost and trash.

What exists today

  • LANTA's downtown EBS stop has been at Walnut & New since 20 November 2025.
  • LANTA Bethlehem Transportation Center (Broad & Guetter).
